I hate the have fact that this is so normalized in black culture. Tell me, exactly what is beating your kids going to accomplish. Is it supposed to install respect, because let me tell you this respect is earned not forced upon through fear. I see it in church, in grocery stores, on playgrounds and it is not okay. We need to stop normalizing the fact that it is somehow okay to hit your children, and if you beleive that it is fine unfollow me right now as i will fight to my death about how beating your children is WRONG.
